Company Recruits Bilingual Employees

Geeks on Call America, a national company that provides on-site computer service and solutions, will hold a job fair in Norfolk on Wednesday specifically to hire full and part-time employees who are fluent in English and Spanish for its call centers.

"We service customers all over the country, said Julie Ovalle, Human Relations manager. "The Spanish speaking population needs their computers fixed too. We want to be able to help them and give them the same services the English speaking population gets."

Geeks on Call will accept applications, conduct interviews on the spot and possibly hire qualified candidates the same night. This is the second such event the company has held, and if three new employees are not found, it may hold another event in a few weeks.

The job fair will take place May 14 from 6 until 8 p.m. in Building 17, 814 Kempsville Rd.
