Aplauda Radlyn Mendozaby Idalia Rosa-Martinez ¡Aplauda! highlights Hampton Roads Attorney Radlyn Mendoza, a 10-year veteran of Immigration Law in Hampton Roads. Radlyn Mendoza, Esq. provides legal services to all people in the community but with great appreciation and recognition counts Hispanics as her major clients. “The Hispanic population has had a big hand in building this community, literally frame-by-frame, brick-by-brick. That’s an aspect I don’t think people think about too much -- who is building up Hampton Roads?” A native of the Philippines, Mendoza and law-partner husband Gardner traveled to Spain to learn Spanish early in their career to better serve the community. And she advises, “any business wanting a piece of the Hispanic Market should employ fluent Spanish speakers as she does in her own office. Only in this way can businesses provide materials and services that the Hispanic community can understand and appreciate.” Mendoza shared that processing green card applications and helping local businesses bring workers from abroad and completing labor certifications are the “bread and butter” of her law practice. A law practice that she and husband worked hard to launch a decade ago. “I count maxing out our credit cards to start this law firm with my husband and serving the Hispanic community as professional life achievements. But other life achievements include being a mom to two daughters and having a great husband that I can have lots of fun with and also work with too!” Mendoza voluntarily coordinates an annual Citizenship Day in Hampton Roads.
